Nearing the end of Summer

Emmy has a feeling winter is coming so she wants to be ready with her Eskimo coat (she wouldn't take it off until bed time)
The Elk herd visit our yard often in the morning and although they are long gone by being scared away from these little hands banging on the window, the kids are still hoping they will return before they have to get down.

Isaiah loves to dress himself these days. He obviously loves the bright colors. Not connected to that at all, he ran onto my lap for a hug yesterday and said "Mom, you are the best wife!"

Here is a very short video of the kids singing along to last weeks VBS songs. Isaiah is attempting to remember some of the motions. I am constantly impressed by the memory of kids, on most things, and how much they pick up. I am so thankful that we don't have tv because the days of watching something in the middle of the day without Isaiah's attention and eyes being glued to it are over. He will also recite something he has heard previously and he rememberes exactly where and on what show he heard it. My little boy is growing up and is no longer a baby.

Such cute pictures! I love the ones of them at the window. How precious! Isaiah seems like such a sweetie...he always says the cutest things. Does it just melt your heart?

Yes it does :) And I think I forgot to mention that Alan was in the room and heard what Isaiah said, so "thanks son" :)
